This year we're focusing on repairing and maintaining parks, besides pruning trees

"This year we're focusing on repairing and maintaining parks, besides pruning trees. We surely want parks in North Jakarta to be really comfortable parks for citizens," said North Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Yati Sudiharti, Thursday (11/5).

She told that parks maintenance in her area needs extra energy. Because, besides different soil contour and weather, flood also often threatens.

"Kinds of plants should also be differentiated. With much hotter weather, it is ensured that only certain plants can grow in this area," she uttered.

She hopes residents would participate maintaining and keeping the park's beauty. By not using park as trading and parking location.
